The Genome Technology Access Center (GTAC) provides DNA/RNA/Protein analysis resources for researchers at Washington University and beyond. GTAC currently provides Illumina NextGen sequencing, RNA-seq, PacBio long read sequencing, 10X Single Cell Sequencing, BioNano mapping, SomaScan 7K Assay, microarray (all formats) and quantitative PCR, including Fludigm arrays and single cell. We have the capabilities and scientific bioinformatics staff to provide analysis services with all provided technologies. Assistance is available at all stages of a project, including experimental design, sample preparation, quality control, PCR/microarray/sequencing procedures, data management, analysis, and interpretive analytics.

Core Description

The Washington University Genome Technology Access Center (GTAC) provides microarray, Q-PCR, and next-generation sequencing (NGS) services to the Washington University community.  It is located on the 4th floor of 4444 Forest Park on the medical campus. The NGS GTAC team involves itself in every step of sequencing research, including experimental design, DNA/RNA QC, library construction, sequencing, and analysis of next-generation sequence data. The facility currently prepares Illumina sequencing libraries for RNA-seq, single-cell RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, WGS, targeted capture and whole exome capture sequencing. The GTAC center provides its customers with raw sequence data and comprehensive bioinformatic analysis for RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, targeted capture, whole exome capture and genomic sequencing using extensively validated workflows.
