Scientific Writers

During Days 2 and 3 of the conference, eight work groups convened to develop recommendations for future ORWH and NIH funding priorities related to women's health research.  See the Topical Areas of Need and Interest page for a list of work groups.

Writers recorded the proceedings of the group, including group discussion and the development of recommendations.  Writers will also contribute to the final report, report content, and notes under the guidance and direction of a lead science writer who has extensive experience working with the NIH and ORWH.

Writers will be acknowledged for their contributions to this process in various ORWH and NIH reports.  Additional opportunities to produce summary articles and proceedings for publication are available.

The conference organizers would like to thank all those who submitted an application for consideration.  Due to the overwhelming response we received, we have appointed one primary and one secondar writer for each group.
