ePARS System Retirement and Transition to Workday

Published May 27, 2021

The university will transition to the Workday system for effort certifications effective July 1, 2021. All individuals, faculty, staff and students that work on Sponsored Projects (including cost sharing) will certify on a semi-annual basis (July – December & January – June) regardless of role and campus affiliation.

ePARS System Retirement
The Spring 2021 Semester ePARS certification period for Danforth Campus Faculty has been extended by one month and will now run from January 1, 2021, through June 30, 2021. This change was made to accommodate the transition from the ePARS system to the new effort reporting module in Workday.

Faculty and students who already certify on a semi-annual and quarterly basis will complete their last certification within the ePARS system as originally scheduled.

Additional information on certifying within Workday will be forthcoming.

Please contact Joe Gindhart in Sponsored Projects Accounting (jgindhart@wustl.edu) if you have any questions about this information.
