NIH Insights: A Data Analysis Tool

Published May 24, 2017

The Research Analytics team, a joint venture between the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and the School of Medicine, has launched NIH Insights*, an evolving suite of interactive dashboards for analyzing NIH extramural funding.

There are currently two dashboards available to Washington University faculty and staff:

  • NIH Paylines: Data on published R01 and R21 paylines for various NIH Institutes/Centers, including average award sizes and success rates
  • Peer Analysis: Comparative analysis of extramural funding for Research Project Grants or Research Center Grants across peer institutions

To access the dashboards and for more information about upcoming projects, visit the Research Analytics site at researchanalytics.wustl.edu.*

* Access to NIH Insights requires a WUSTL key.

Please contact Blake Fuhler with any questions or suggestions for NIH Insights.
