Core Description

The BRC provides the computing resources, bioinformatics services, and expertise to the Center of Regenerative Medicine (CRM) in Washington University School of Medicine, and collaborates with biomedical researchers to advance the scientific research of regenerative medicine.

The BRC offers state-of-the-art technologies for working with different sequencing data and other biological data – from acquisition and storage to analysis and visualization. Our resources are secure, standards-compliant, and open to all members of the CRM. We take pride in being research collaborators who can work with you through all the stages of a project.

Bioinformatics Resource Core is to advance research by offering bioinformatics expertise at all phases of research. The BRC provides a wide array of bioinformatics services for all phases of medicine. Sequencing (of many kinds) has become an important aspect of clinical and translational medicine. The BRC has expertise in RNA-seq, single cell RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, microarray analysis, and genomic mutant calling. All of these technologies are directly relevant to translational science, as they enable interrogation of disease mechanisms, etiology, and the contribution of genetic variants to human conditions. Core staff assists in experimental design, data analysis, publication figure generation, and the generation of new analysis algorithms and pipelines.

$75 – Hourly fee for all WUSTL affiliates
