- Cognos Analytics: Essentials – 1:00-1:30 p.m.
This 15-minute module will be assigned to all Cognos users in Learn@Work, and is a prerequisite for all other training. It introduces learners to the new environment, navigation, and additional features. Even if all you do is use Cognos to access a TM1 application like Annual Budget, this module includes things you need to know.
- Cognos Analytics: Basic Reporting – 1:30-2:00 p.m.
If you run reports in Cognos, this module is for you. It covers topics in shared, standard and personal reports, report views, schedules and subscriptions.
- Report Author: Essentials – 2:00-2:45 p.m.
This module is for all report writers and provides an introduction to the new report-writing interface, including navigation, data sources, and creating a basic report with filters and groups.
The webinar content will include the same things as the recorded module, but gives the learner the opportunity to ask questions and interact with the trainer. Learners will receive Learn@Work credit for attending the webinars. Webinars will be offered in blocks of time as follows, and learners can participate in one or all of the classes in each block.
This will be updated with a link for the Skype session.
After the upgrade is complete, we will continue to offer live webinars for a short period based on customer demand and feedback.
More information will be rolling out over the next few weeks, but in the meantime, check out our FAQ on the project page, located at https://it.wustl.edu/home/services/bidw/cognos-analytics-upgrade/
