The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) is hosting their third annual symposium to explore how the application of informatics tools and methods contributes to the creation and operation of a learning health care system. The symposium will include a keynote address given by Patricia Brennan, RN, PhD, Director of the National Library of Medicine and will include plenary talks, skills-focused workshops, breakout groups, and a poster session. Posters will showcase the unique ways in which informatics tools advance research, academic training, clinical practice, and ultimately, patient health.

Call for Abstracts is Open – Deadline is December 6.
The Symposium will feature a formal poster session. Details regarding submitting an abstract are available on the ICTS website. Applicants will be notified of selection decisions by early January 2020

The ICTS is conducting a competition to feature three Ignite-style presentations during the plenary portion of the symposium. Presenters will be chosen by ICTS leadership based on a one minute video submission. Deadline is December 13. Additional details and a link to submit your video are available on the ICTS website.
