ARPA-H Seeding Ideas Event

Eric P. Newman Education Center (EPNEC)

There is a new federal agency funding biomedical research – the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). Details can be found at ARPA-H.gov and by listening to the 2023 Researcher Forum webinar.

To help Washington University prepare for ARPA-H funding, the Research Development Office is hosting a “Seeding Ideas at EPNEC on the School of Medicine Campus to generate project ideas and teams for future ARPA-H funding. Participation across a variety of schools, departments, and disciplines is strongly encouraged.

This professionally facilitated, interactive event will promote “out of the box” discussion, collaboration, and development of project pitches for anticipated ARPA-H multi-million dollar programs. All participants are expected to gain:

  • a unique team building experience to develop ARPA-H projects;
  • knowledge on how to pitch an ARPA-H project (Hint – It’s different than NIH!); and
  • an opportunity to meet new collaborators across the University.

Space is limited. If interested, please complete this form to participate.

  • Participants should be committed to attending the entire event and have a willingness to collaborate across disciplines. If capacity is reached, participants will be selected on a first come-first serve basis by department, school, or discipline to ensure diverse participation across the University.
