Arpana Agrawal, PhD
Professor of Psychiatry
This Program for the Ethical and Responsible Conduct of Science and Scholarship (PERCSS) workshop will feature presentations on policies and procedures related to the responsible conduct of research (RCR). All members of the WashU community who are actively engaged in research and interested in RCR are welcome to attend and participate. It is highly recommended for postdocs, career award recipients, and other junior research team members.
This workshop focuses on the research ethics of collaborative research. During the session, Dr. Arpana Agrawal will provide a lecture on collaborative research, followed by discussions on case studies that explore complex ethical situations faced by researchers.
This training will be held via Zoom meetings. Due to the NIH and NSF’s training requirements for face-to-face ethics training, all participants will be asked to turn on their videos during this meeting. Everyone will be expected to participate in the discussions.
Participants must be present for the duration of the 2-hour training session. Attendance will be checked throughout the session.
Register in Learn@Work. This session is limited to 50 people.
A Zoom link will be sent via email to all enrolled participants.
Additional PERCSS trainings will be offered in the spring 2021 semester, with more dates being announced soon. This session is limited to 50 people.
