Clinical Trials Billing
WUSTL, the Faculty Practice Plan, and our hospital partners have a responsibility to bill correctly for the clinical items and services provided in the context of a clinical research project.
In 2006, WUSTL implemented the Billing Matrix system, a database that houses information on clinical trials and the participants that are enrolled in them, as a tool to assist in this responsibility. Use of the Billing Matrix is required by the School of Medicine, Washington University Physician Practice Plan, Barnes-Jewish Hospital, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. More...
Individuals must complete online training to obtain access to the Billing Matrix. Please contact ccsbillingmatrix@wusm.wustl.edu or go to http://train2web.wustl.edu/billing_matrix.
