COS: Faculty Expertise at WUSTL *
Faculty may choose to opt-in to this service, which allows participants to list contact information, positions held, publications, patents, funding received, and a first-person narrative describing current research activities and expertise. Community of Science (COS) Expertise profiles also include direct links to e-mail, a personal home page, an online CV, patent abstracts, publication abstracts, and available research grants. The Community of Science (COS) Expertise database contains detailed professional information for nearly 500,000 scientists and scholars worldwide, representing more than 1,600 leading research universities, government agencies, and other R&D organizations. Google Scholar
This external site provides a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.
SCOPUS *
Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of research literature and quality web sources. Users may find out who is citing them, and how many citations an article or an author has received. Users can easily view the main journals, disciplines and authors that publish in an area of interest.

Web of Science
Web of Science provides researchers, administrators, faculty, and students with quick, powerful access to the world's leading citation databases. WUSM Core Research Facilities *
The Core Research Facilities web site provides a means by which researchers may be connected with WUSM facilities that offer novel technologies not readily available in all laboratories, typically on a fee-for-service basis. While the web site is a valuable, centralized tool for connecting researchers with available resources at the School of Medicine, a major investment is underway to improve and expand it across the institution. Cindy Kiel, J.D., Assistant Vice Chancellor for Research Services and Executive Director, Office of Sponsored Research Services, chairs the task force overseeing the site’s renovation.
