The PERCSS Core Curriculum features eight web-based learning modules in areas related to ethical and responsible conduct of research. For additional research ethics training, see the Education and Training Section of Responsible Conduct of Research.
All members of the Washington University research community are welcome to participate in PERCSS educational programming.
Core Curriculum
The PERCSS Core Curriculum is accessible via Learn@Work consists of eight web-based learning modules in the following subject areas:
- Introduction to Ethical and Responsible Research
- Authorship and Publication
- Collaborative Research
- Conflict of Interest
- Data Ownership, Acquisition, Sharing, and Management
- Mentor-Trainee Relationships
- Peer Review
- Research Integrity

PERCSS Workshops for Face-to-Face RCR Training
The next PERCSS Workshop (live training) will take place in March 2024 on the School of Medicine campus, offering up to four hours of face-to-face training. Registration and details about this training will be announced via Research News.
