Clinical Science Research Core (CSR)

The Clinical Science Research Core provides training and assistance in clinical research activities, including study design and performance, body composition analyses, indirect calorimetry, stable isotope tracer methods, and mathematical modeling of metabolic kinetics.

Animal Model Research Core

The Animal Model Research Core provides breeding and colony maintenance of rodent models used for nutrition-related research (e.g., animals with lipid abnormalities, atherosclerosis, obesity and diabetes), genotyping, histological analyses, biochemical measurements (plasma lipids, glucose, and hormones) and body composition analyses.

Adipocyte Biology and Molecular Nutrition Core (ABMN)

The Adipocyte Biology and Molecular Nutrition Core (ABMN Core) is specifically tailored to meet the needs of Nutrition Obesity Research Center (NORC) investigators in basic and clinical departments who wish to conduct nutrition- or obesity- related molecular research. The ABMN provides support for the study of adipose tissue biology and of the molecular basis of […]
