As we have announced previously, the new Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards became effective on December 26, 2014 (2 CFR Chapter I, Chapter II, Part 200, et al.). This guidance, most often referred to as Uniform Guidance (UG), supersedes requirements from OMB Circulars including A-21, A-110 and A-133. It is important to note that many of the federal agencies that sponsor research activities have not yet issued their implementation of the new federal rules. Please see the attached tool to be used as a guide, in conjunction with the Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), when preparing proposals/budgets to federal agencies.​
