NIH Childcare Costs for NRSA Trainees

Published September 9, 2022

The NIH will provide a childcare allowance for graduate students and post-doctorates funded through the National Research Service Award (NRSA) program on institutional research training awards (T32, TL1, TU2 and T90), see NIH Notice NOT-OD-21-177.  Accordingly, Sponsored Projects Accounting, in conjunction with Human Resources, have developed the attached guidance document and related form. A new compensation plan called NIH Child Care Stipend has been added to Workday to facilitate the payments. This information will also be available on the SPA website.
