Sponsored Projects Accounting (SPA) has been informed that several departments have noticed fringe benefits for furloughed workers have been posted to their department’s plain (12-3###-1200) account, and not the existing funding sources for that employee. SPA suggests that you review the distribution of fringe costs for your furloughed workers to verify the correct sourcing. Payroll Cost Transfers (PCTs) can be processed to move those costs to the proper sourcing for the employee, or they can remain on your plain account. The PCT deadline for FY 20 is 7/2/20.
