Happy Research Administrator’s Day!

Published September 25, 2024, via Research News

The National Research Administrator Day is September 25. Please join me in showing thanks and appreciation for the diligent and dedicated efforts of the many highly specialized research administrators at WashU.

Research administrators play a critical role in WashU’s research enterprise. They support research at pre- and post-award stages, assist researchers with administration and oversight of research-related activities and with stewardship of research funds, and protect the University by ensuring compliance with multiple sets of regulations.

As we celebrate the milestone of surpassing $1 billion in annual research funding, our dedicated Research Administrators have continued to provide exceptional support to investigators across WashU, ensuring the continued success and growth of our research efforts.

Thank you, Research Administrators, for your hard work and contributions to the world-class research at WashU. You make it all work.

Sincerely,

Mark E. Lowe, MD, PhD
Vice Chancellor for Research
Associate Dean for Research, School of Medicine
Harvey R. Colten Professor of Pediatric Science
