The Human Research Protection Office (HRPO) has updated the Washington University IRB Policies document. The updated policies went into effect on May 10, 2024. A summary of changes is available on the HRPO website. The update includes new information about reporting requirements for exempt research, IRB membership requirements, waivers of informed consent in FDA regulated research.
Faculty, staff, and students engaging in human subjects research should familiarize themselves with the updated information.
