Washington University is committed to the ethical and responsible conduct of research by all members of its research community. As part of that commitment, Washington University has developed a Research Integrity Policy in accordance with federal regulations, which describes the responsibilities of the institution to respond to and investigate allegations of research misconduct. The Authorship Policy describes the essential considerations and requirements for responsible authorship of scientific and scholarly publications by the University community.

Any individual, whether affiliated with Washington University or not, may report an allegation of research misconduct to the CRI Chair and Research Integrity Officer, Gregory Grant, PhD (314.362.3367), the Office of Research Integrity & Ethics (ORIE) (314.747.1378), the Vice Chancellor for Research (314.747.0515), or anonymously through the University Compliance Hotline at 314.362.4998, or the Online Reporting Form.
